RSVPR Fashion

 

 

On may 15th, we made a presentation about European fashion brands and its influence in Korea.

Preparing this presentation, we could learn more about luxurious fashion brands and its korean counterparts. It was my first time to research fashion brands, so it was difficult, but nevertheless interesting.

After our (Miseon, Goun, and me) presentation, Mr. Pierre Andre Doucet visited our school and introduced his company, RSVPR to us. His company is small, but very effective. It introduces Korean brands to other countries.

 

After his presentation, I had dinner with him. During our conversation, I felt that he is well-mannered and considerate. I think he is a typical successful business man. I've always wondered how Korean companies make themselves known in other countries, especially European countries. That's what RSVPR does. It was very interesting and I hope I could work with him someday.

Topic of student's  prsentation was the influence of European fashion on Korea. Our objectives are to get more information about European fashion and to know the good and bad influence of European fashion. We will talk about good and bad influence of European fashion for Korean. And also there will be time for further information about European fashion. By the end of this presentation, if you have any questions, please ask us. So our presentation will take about 40 minutes.

First of all, I’ll be looking at the influence of skinny fashion models in Korea. And second. I’ll be looking at the influence of the European fashion style in Korea. Europe is the place that fashion is well-developed. Therefore, there are many fashion models in Europe, especially in Paris, France, Milano in Italy and London in England. . Nowadays, many designers in Europe are requiring skinny models. Korean people began to pursue this type of figure. The good influences of this trend are First, (The popularization of the exercise) Many people in Korea began to work out to wear clothes stylishly. Second,(The spread of well-being food) they began to eat good food as well as exercise. But there is also a bad influence. First,(The obsession of 44(XS)size) Many young women are obsessed with the 44 size. As a result, They suffer from (anorexia.) Anorexia is fear of becoming fat, and the person who suffers from anorexia refuses to eat enough and becomes thinner and thinner. As I mentioned earlier, there are many famous fashion place in Europe. The first place is Paris in France. The second place is Milano in Italy. The third place is London in England.  These days, Due to the development of internet, these fashion trends are appearing in Korea. The good influences of this phenomenon are the development of the Korean fashion industry. But due to the pursuit of excessive European fashion style, there is no unique Korea fashion.
